Eat Stop Eat is a long-term solution that helps you lose body fat and keep it off. However, there will be times in your life when you will need fast weight loss.

Here are my best tips for fast weight loss. You can use these if you have a special event like a wedding or a party. I have found adding these three tips to Eat Stop Eat to be safe and effective ways to lose weight fast, and burn off your belly fat.

As always, nutrition is the most important part of any weight loss program. You'll find that you can lose 2 or even 3 extra pounds in one week if you make some minor nutrition changes.

First and foremost, if you want to lose weight, you should be fasting once or twice per week while following a resistance-training program.

On top of this, you should concentrate on small ‘downsizes’ that you can do to your every day eating.

As an example. An extra-large coffee with three cream and three sugars can contain over 400 calories.  Alternatively, a medium size coffee with two creams and two sugars contains roughly 150 calories. By simply downsizing your daily cup of coffee you can decrease the amount of calories you eat by almost 300 calories! (While still enjoying your coffee with cream and sugar).

Another easy downsize is to switch to eating on a slightly smaller dinner plate. You’d be surprised how much this one little change can effect how much food you serve yourself! Again, you still get to enjoy the foods you eat, just in smaller portions.

Lastly, try almond milk…at least for a while.

There is nothing wrong with regular milk. However for fast weight loss replacing a cup of regular milk with a cup of almond milk can save you almost a 100 Calories per day.  Try unsweetened almond milk in your coffee or tea or anywhere you would normally use milk.

These small changes when combined with Eat Stop Eat style flexible intermittent fasting can create fast weight loss to get you into great shape for an upcoming event.

Please don’t make the mistake of increasing your exercise in an attempt to lose weight. Research has consistently shown that the key to weight loss is maintaining a calorie deficit, and that ‘killing yourself’ in the gym has a limited ability to help you lose weight.

My advice is to stick with the simple plan of ‘Eating for weight loss and exercising to maintain or even build muscle mass” this is the easiest and most effective way to lose body weight fast.
